2 Connect with people

As we are unable to have external visitors, or leave the home to see friends and family, it is more important than ever to find other ways to connect with other people. Connecting with others gives you and an opportunity to share experiences and provide emotional support. Build relationships is vital for our mental wellbeing. Use Zoom, Skype, FaceTime and WhatsApp video calling to see the faces that can brighten your day.

3 Learn a new skill

Learning something new can improve your mental wellbeing and help raise self-esteem creating a sense of achievement. It can also open the door to new connections with people you may not have previously interacted with through a new mutual interest. If you are looking to pick up a new skill, there are YouTube tutorials for almost everything from fine art painting to unicycle riding. Why not have a little search to pique your curiosity.
